PETROS OAK OVAL is an extendable dining table with an elongated, oval tabletop. Its smooth outline has no sharp corners, and the profiled edge emphasizes the gentle lines of the entire piece. The oak finish highlights the natural grain pattern across the wide surface of the tabletop and echoes the vertical divisions of the base.
Extending with two leaves
The tabletop slides open on metal runners. Two central leaves can be placed between the end sections, creating an even surface with clear dividing lines when extended. This allows for increasing the length of the table while maintaining the characteristic oval contour of its ends. In the closed version, the design remains compact and orderly.
Two fluted supports
The tabletop rests on two wide supports positioned a certain distance from the ends. Their surfaces are decorated with regular vertical fluting, and the outer sides feature a rounded profile. The rhythmic pattern of the milling organizes the massive base and visually connects it to the soft lines of the tabletop. The arrangement of the supports leaves a clear space in the center and displays the structure well from both the front and corner perspectives.
