LAMOS OAK BLACK&WHITE is an extendable dining table in a variant combining a light surface with an oak grain pattern and a black base. In its basic configuration, the tabletop forms a compact circle. Its distinct edge and gently rounded silhouette bring order to the form, while the contrast of the two finishes strongly emphasizes the furniture's shape. This allows the table to serve as a clear focal point in a contemporary dining room.
The rhythm of vertical slats
Under the tabletop lies an openwork base made of many narrow, vertical slats. The black finish highlights the regular gaps and gives the structure a graphic character. In the basic state, both parts of the base are clustered centrally. When extended, they move along with the tabletop halves and remain closer to the ends, making the layout change visible not only in the surface but in the entire volume of the table.
From a round form to an elongated top
During extension, the tabletop halves slide apart, opening space for additional surface segments. Visible metal telescopic runners guide the mechanism's movement. Once the segments are added, the compact circle transforms into an elongated form ending in semicircular sides. This layout allows for the use of a more compact version for daily needs, while switching to a larger surface for shared meals or gatherings without changing the furniture's character.
A coherent variant for a contemporary interior
The light oak grain of the tabletop warms up the composition, while the black slatted base introduces a sharp contrast.
