The tabletop is supported by a central base composed of numerous slender, vertical slats in an oak finish. The gaps between the elements give it an openwork character while maintaining a bold, almost cylindrical silhouette. The repetitive rhythm of the slats is best seen from side and oblique views, which is why the base remains an important visual element of the entire table.
Step-by-step extension
In the basic layout, both parts of the tabletop form a compact, circular surface. When extending, the halves move apart, and the two parts of the base move with them. Space for additional surface segments appears between them. Visible metal telescopic slides guide the table's movement, and the successive stages of extension transform the circular top into an elongated form with semicircular ends. Thanks to this, the same model can maintain a compact layout for everyday use and offer a larger surface for gatherings.
