Black silhouette with visible grain
MARVIN OAK BLACK is an extendable dining table in an oak variant with a black finish. In its base configuration, the tabletop features an elongated outline with straight long sides and heavily rounded ends and corners. The soft edge softens the large surface, while the visible grain pattern remains legible despite the deep, dark coloring. The uniform color of the tabletop and base gives the piece a decisive, cohesive character.
Sculptural cross base
Underneath the tabletop, there is an elaborate base with intersecting, widely splayed arms. The dynamic geometry remains visible from both the front and the side, making the base an important element of the model's recognizable silhouette. The folds and intersections of the arms create a distinct rhythm that contrasts with the gentle outline of the tabletop, while maintaining a consistent black finish throughout the table.
Extension and under-table leaves
The table can be extended using two additional tabletop segments. Once the outer sections are pulled apart, the visible metal runners mark the space for the leaves, and their insertion creates a longer, continuous surface. When the additional segments are not in use, they remain stored under the tabletop, eliminating the need for separate storage space. This allows for transitioning between the shorter daily configuration and full extension, while maintaining the same characteristic outline and central cross base.
MARVIN is manufactured in Poland. The declared production time is four to eight weeks.
