Round shape and oak finish
LONA OAK is an extendable dining table with a round tabletop in its folded state. The surface showcases an oak wood grain, and the rounded, profiled edge creates a soft silhouette without sharp corners. A single central base centers the form around the table's axis and remains accessible from every side.
Fluted cylindrical base
The base is shaped as a compact cylinder. Regular vertical fluting creates a distinct rhythm and highlights the height of the piece, while referencing the oak finish of the tabletop. Thanks to the single central support, the silhouette remains cohesive both from a frontal view and a corner perspective.
Extension with a leaf
The tabletop slides open on metal guides, revealing space for one central leaf. The extension piece is stored under the tabletop, so it remains with the furniture when not in use. Once the leaf is inserted, the round tabletop takes on an elongated, oval form with visible joining lines. The mechanism and leaf are accessible after sliding the two parts of the tabletop apart. When closed, the tabletop once again forms a perfect circle.
