Panel design and simple form
TESTO is an upholstered continental bed with a high headboard divided into six softly profiled rectangular panels. Two rows of three panels organize the front composition, while the bipartite base and solid, simple front emphasize the symmetry of the structure. Full upholstered sides create a cohesive form regardless of the chosen upholstery. The model is available as a single or double bed. The back of the headboard is finished with technical fabric, which is why the piece of furniture is designed to be placed against a wall.
Two storage compartments and a Bonnell mattress
Under the two independently lifting parts are two separate storage compartments. Separate opening allows access to each storage section without lifting the entire width of the sleeping surface. Access is provided by two sets of spring-loaded lifting mechanisms. Hooks connect the boxes to the headboard, and a white plastic channel covers the mechanism components. The construction includes a Bonnell mattress with a single-sided 4 cm thick T25 foam layer and polyurethane foam side finishing. A topper should be selected or purchased separately; a 3 cm thick T25 foam topper in a Jersey cover has been confirmed for this model.
Construction and available finishes
Pine wood, laminated boards, grey board, plywood, fiberboard, T25 foam, and 100 g/m² batting were used to make the construction. The bed can be ordered in Monolith, Soro, and Jasmine collections, each of which is available in many color variants. The product is made in Poland by a Polish manufacturer, and the declared production time is one to two weeks.
